Alta Real Estate is pleased to announce the successful delivery of a 317-bed student accommodation scheme in Oviedo to Harrison Street. This is the first delivered scheme resulting from the joint venture agreement signed between both companies in October 2018.
The residence is located in Oviedo’s Montecerrao neighborhood, at walking distance from the Universidad de Oviedo’s Campus del Cristo and well connected to the city center by private and public transport.
The project comprises 3 blocks built over a sloped hill and hosts a total of 317 rooms, ranging from standard single rooms to large single rooms with terrace. In addition, residents will benefit from a wide variety of amenities, which include landscaped grounds, study rooms, games rooms, dinner party rooms, a residents’ bar and restaurant, a cinema room, a gym and a rooftop terrace. There are also 77 outdoor parking spaces.
Moreover, the project has been developed in accordance with the highest sustainability principles, placing great importance on resource and energy efficiency. As a result, it has become the first student accommodation scheme in Spain to have achieved the BREEAM ‘Good’ certification and the first privately-owned real estate project to be granted a BREEAM rating in the city of Oviedo.
